Our 24th fiscal year began on October 1st.
In our 23rd fiscal year, we made considerable progress in the second half, but due to factors such as an increase in idle man-hours, we fell short of our targets for both sales and operating profit.
Recruitment remains challenging for a small- to medium-sized company.
We hired a total of 36 employees, including 20 mid-career hires and 16 new graduates, but we also had a fair number of resignations.
At the end of the fiscal year, we had 208 full-time employees and 82 business partners.
Continuing from the previous fiscal year, we continued to secure new contracts and released our own app in September.
We currently have 25 foreign employees representing 12 countries, and we intend to further accelerate diversity and strengthen our collaboration with overseas partners.
Until now, we have placed a high priority on recruitment, which has largely been seen as an upfront investment. However, this fiscal year we intend to moderate hiring and instead focus on securing profits.
We will use these profits to invest in innovations that solve social issues.
Additionally, on the afternoon of October 1st, we held a job offer ceremony for new graduates for 2026.
Ten fresh new employees will be joining us next year, four of whom are foreign nationals.
The social gathering was held at Osteria La Mante in Global Gate, where we enjoyed delicious Italian food and wine, and we believe it was an opportunity for the new employees to get to know each other better and deepen their friendships.
Next up, we plan to hold the 24th term policy presentation on October 10th.
We will continue to strive for even greater success next fiscal year.
We appreciate your continued support.
